Nursing Contributor — Hormones, Wellness & Life Changes

Nursing experience, practical preparation, and clear limits.

Claire writes the one desk here I am not qualified to write. Hormones, pregnancy, postpartum, reproductive transitions, consultation preparation — a subject where confident strangers online routinely arrive with nothing, and she arrives with a nursing license and a habit of saying “that one is for your clinician.”

Claire Elise Wellness

Claire separately operates a wellness-education and coaching business. Vanity or Vice is not the service provider and does not receive private service information.

How Claire approaches the work

She begins with the person living through the transition, not with a perfect timeline or a performance standard. The aim is to make uncertainty easier to observe, questions easier to prepare, and appointments more useful — without turning a body into a project that must be optimized on command.

That runs through the editorial work too: explain what is known, name what varies, keep the limits visible, hand the reader a calmer next step. She prepares questions. She does not return verdicts, and on a site built around verdicts that distinction has teeth.

Hormones, Wellness & Life Changes is the pillar those pieces belong to.

What Claire contributes here

Claire writes, co-writes, comments on, and reviews health and wellness material when her nursing education, obstetric background, research, and editorial role provide a reasonable basis for participation.

Her editorial scope includes hormones, menstrual and cycle health, contraception education, pregnancy, preconception, postpartum transitions, reproductive and fertility literacy, perimenopause, menopause, patient safety, healthcare navigation, informed consent, practical wellness, sleep, stress, recovery, movement, nourishment, health claims, treatment descriptions, supplements, wellness products, aesthetic-treatment literacy, and evidence interpretation.

Claire’s involvement does not replace exact current sources, legal review, specialty medical review, prescribing information, or another form of subject-specific authority when an asset requires it.

Editorial breadth is not a paid-service scope

The range of subjects Claire can explain in public is wide. The range of things anyone could buy from her is not, and the two get confused constantly — usually on purpose, usually by someone selling a protocol.

Proposed paid services do not include emergency response, urgent symptom assessment, diagnosis, triage, prescribing, dosing, medication or supplement changes, contraceptive or hormone-treatment selection, laboratory or imaging interpretation, medical-record review, clearance, candidacy decisions, individualized fertility treatment, pregnancy or postpartum complication assessment, individualized menopause treatment, or ongoing clinical management.

Relationship disclosure: Claire is Rachel’s niece. Claire contributes nursing and editorial perspective to Vanity or Vice and separately operates Claire Elise Wellness. Any paid, sponsored, referral, or preferential-placement relationship must be identified where it appears.

Review credits are exact, dated, and limited to the asset reviewed

A consequential review record should identify the exact asset and version, Claire’s role, review date, scope, corrections requested, whether those corrections were completed, unresolved limitations, sources supplied, and the next review trigger. One review does not approve later versions automatically.

Current facts are rechecked when a credential, license, product, treatment, regulation, source, or consequential claim changes. The wider policy is in Editorial Standards & How We Work, and the full contributor register is at Contributors.

Claire Elise Wellness is a separate business

Claire Elise Wellness—not Vanity or Vice or Northern Lantern House LLC—would provide any future coaching or paid educational service. It would own eligibility, intake, consent, booking, payment, private communication, service delivery, records, refunds, complaints, and follow-up.

Read her notes, start at the pillar, or review the separate service boundary.

A family credential is the easiest thing in publishing to over-spend. This page exists so nobody has to take my word for what it covers.
